We build memory
for physical places.
Visit Vanta is a small, quiet company. We ship a small, quiet product. We think most software forgot the customer the moment they left, and that's what we're here to fix.
The best businesses in the world remember the people who walk through the door. Most software helps them forget.
For twenty years, the software industry has been extraordinarily good at helping digital-first businesses know their customers. Every click is captured. Every session recorded. Every intent inferred. Meanwhile, the coffee shop on the corner — the one where you've been going every Tuesday for eight months — still asks your name every time.
That gap is not a technology problem. It's a design problem. It's a choice.
We started Visit Vanta because the businesses we love — the small dining room, the neighborhood gym, the family salon, the hotel that quietly remembers the pillow you asked for — deserve tools that match the quality of the room they've built. Not another dashboard. Not another CRM. Not another loyalty program with a barcode.
We're building a piece of intelligent hospitality infrastructure. A guest walks in. A guest is known. A guest walks out. The room does not forget them. That's it. That's the product.
We think it's a bigger idea than it looks.
Eight quiet principles.
- 01
Rooms are not databases.
The best hospitality moments happen in the last three feet. Software should support them, not replace them.
- 02
Consent is the whole thing.
If a guest didn't offer a piece of information, we don't have it, we don't infer it, we don't buy it from anyone.
- 03
Simple in front, boring behind.
The screen should feel light. The infrastructure should feel unremarkable. Both take work.
- 04
Recognition is not surveillance.
We build with no cameras, no biometrics, no facial recognition. Ever. Recognition is a chosen relationship.
- 05
Follow-ups can be gifts.
Or spam. We write them so they feel like the former. Frequency defaults to rare.
- 06
The business owns the memory.
Every byte of guest data is your business's data. Export it. Delete it. Move it. We never resell it.
- 07
Ship less. Ship better.
One product, done extremely well, beats a suite. We're allergic to feature creep.
- 08
Pace is a feature.
The check-in should feel like the room it lives in. A spa moves slowly. A club moves fast. So does the theme.
A dozen people.
One quiet product.
Small on purpose. Ex-hospitality, ex-product, ex-hardware. We hire slowly and stay small.
A short history.
The idea
Lena and Aris write the first draft of "Hospitality Intelligence" over three coffees at a café that still didn't know them.
First check-in
The prototype ships. A single hotel lobby in San Francisco. Nine check-ins on day one.
Seed round
A quiet seed round. Twelve businesses running. First hire in hospitality.
Series A
We open to early business partners across four categories. This is where you find us today.
